Description

This is a dream Blaufränkisch.

Uwe Schiefer has turned nearly 50-year-old vines from Lutzmannsburg (in Central Burgenland) into a terrific red wine that shows how wonderful this varietal can be. In it, everything comes together: A warm, balanced vintage, the meticulous craftsmanship of the winemaker, the long ageing in 500L wooden barrels and the huge potential of the grape varietal.

This is a Vinaria winning wine, which the famous international wine critic James Suckling gave 95 out of 100 points and Wine Enthusiast gave 96 points! It's dark and animating with fine wood nuances, and juicy, with a chocolatey, warm finish. Elegant, substantial and decisive. Impressive down to the last drop and lasts forever.

This fantastic bottle will leave every red wine drinker speechless for a moment. And it will last for many, many years to come. It's amazing that such wines exist - we're definitely in love.
