Blaufränkisch from the famous Reihburg am Eisenberg vineyard is a coveted rarity. Uwe Schiefer deliberately brings his wines to the market late so that they have time to develop. What then comes into the glass is world-class!

A splendid wine that immediately shows how big the varietal and region can be when paired with the flair of an expert winemaker. 45 to 60-year-old vines from the famous Reihburg vineyard really bring out the terroir and minerality. After 36 months in a small barrique barrel and subsequent bottle ageing, the wood is perfectly integrated. Velvety soft tannins caress the palate. Radiant, tinkling minerality meets dark fruits and typical spice. It feels like the wine lingers for minutes at the finish, clearly showing its size. Can be stored for at least another 20 years.

Red wine from Eisenberg can be so beautiful! We are completely in love, although this is certainly not a wine for beginners or for every day. Made for the big moments in life and to broaden your horizons.
