This is the essence of Eisenberg in southern Burgenland, Austria. The Szapary vineyard is defined by its ferruginous clay and loam soils, interspersed with blue slate. With vines aged 25 to 60 years, deeply rooted in the soil, this wine beautifully captures the terroir, crafted following organic principles.

Aged for 42 months in large oak barrels and bottled without fining or filtration, this red wine is already delightfully approachable but has the potential to mature gracefully for another 10–15 years.
