One of the best Grüner Veltliner in the Kamptal and a trophy winner in Genuss magazine!
The Grub Erste Lage is a basin between the famous Heiligenstein and Gaisberg vineyards in the Kamptal. The soil is characterised by deep loess structures and the remains of bones from a Stone Age settlement. This soil shapes the wine and gives it its balanced character.
After a little air in the glass, a pleasant scent of stone fruit and some white and yellow fruits fills the nose. The first impression in the mouth is juicy, fresh and extremely elegant. The finish is mineral and slightly piquant. A lot of charm accompanies this still young wine into the last sip. Great storage potential!
Pairs well with baked goods and a revelation with fish and cheese!
