Description

The name Pannobile expresses both the origin (Pannonia) and the special value of these wines (noble, nobile). Nine winemakers from Gols joined forces over 25 years ago to create a Burgenland brand that signals quality. All Pannobiles are also characterised by their maturation in wooden barrels and the mainly autochthonous (= local, native) grape varietals used.

This balanced, organic red wine cuvée made from 60% Zweigelt and 40% Blaufänkisch has a scent of sweet plums with delicate vanilla. A long finish with a silky tannin structure is reflected on the palate. The wood (21 months in a 500l oak barrel) is beautifully integrated. The focus here is on fruit and elegance. The Pannobile red is certainly still young but open-hearted and will grow in the next few years and put a smile on your face. We already like it very much.

Pairs well with dark meat, game, aged cheese and as an accompaniment for a long chat with friends.
