The Paulus is the best red wine cuvee at Paul Lehrner's winery and therefore bears the winemaker's first name. A figurehead of the Austrian red wine scene and a highly rated, elegant revelation every year.

This Grand Cuvee is a Bordeaux blend with Austrian roots. Grape varietals combined are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and the indigenous Zweigelt. Matured for the most part in new French barriques. Deep red colour, a distinct blackberry aroma and cleanly integrated oak notes with a vibrant touch. The delicate sweetness of wild berries and fine nuances of tobacco in the aftertaste. A juicy and powerful body with an expressive and very long finish. A safe bet for those who love strong, well-structured red wine cuvées.

Perfect on cool days to warm the heart! An international-style red wine that can easily mature for another 15 years or more. Pairs wonderfully with game, lamb and mature cheeses.
