Weingut Wieninger Grüner Veltliner Nussberg 2021

The soils on the famous Viennese Nussberg are characterised by calcareous shell limestone with limestone in the subsoil. This has created this seductive Grüner Veltliner, which was cultivated according to biodynamic guidelines.

It's classically matured in steel tanks and stored on the fine lees in order to emphasise the fragrant character as much as possible. The nose shines attractively with herbal spices and apple fruit. On the palate, we find a concert of apricot, honey and herbs. It's dry with 1g residual sugar and is surprisingly light-footed and crisp.

Harmonises wonderfully with Viennese classic dishes, but also great with fish. This is a wine that will be adored by every wine lover - a benchmark for Wiener Veltliner!
