Description

When we were allowed to taste this wine for the first time, it rocked our worlds. Wow - what a great Cabernet, so typical and pure from the Chianti region, which we were not expecting. Top Cabernet Sauvignons from Tuscany are not uncommon and in Bolgheri in particular there are real world-class wines, but what Gagliole delivers here is really a stunner!

Deep and dark in the glass, multi-layered and complex nose - very typical, a lot of cassis and wild berries, wonderfully integrated wood. Very ripe tannins on the palate, flattering, but very powerful and a really great acidity. A really long finish puts a smile on your face.
