Welschriesling is making a well-deserved comeback in Burgenland—and the Triebaumers show just how much potential this often-underestimated variety holds, especially when cultivated with care and respect for nature.

Lovingly tended by hand in the vineyard, the grapes are gently harvested and pressed, then spontaneously fermented in large wooden barrels. A single maturation on the fine lees follows, before the wine is bottled unfiltered, preserving its natural energy and purity.

In the glass, it’s clear with just a gentle haze. The nose is complex and intriguing, with notes of melon, lime blossom, and chamomile. On the palate, it's dry and crisp, with a subtle touch of pineapple, underpinned by vibrant minerality. Refreshing, thought-provoking, and delightfully unexpected—it challenges assumptions and rewards curiosity.
