Description
Ruster Ausbruch has been anchored in wine law as a DAC since the 2017 vintage and is often referred to as liquid gold. This wine made Rust's original town charter possible and gave the community a special status within Austria.
The sequence of weather conditions necessary for the emergence of botrytis (noble rot on the grapes) is based on the unique microclimate between the Rust Hügelland and Neusiedlersee. This blend is made from Grüner Veltliner and Welschriesling grapes, which are particularly suitable for sweet wines. After a certain period of ripening, find a concentrate of tropical fruits and honey aromas combined with invigorating acidity. Harmonious, elegant and with a very long, silky finish. Puts a sweet smile on your face.
Perfect for storage, for special celebrations or to drink with cheese or desserts.
