Emblematic of the Wachau, the grapes for this wine grow in the most beautiful vineyards. The lime-loving mountain thistle and the reversed name of the godfather are synonymous with Weissenkirchner and Dürnsteiner vineyards, making a play on words. Rightly rated very highly by Falstaff and certainly one of our favourites - you just have to drink this wine!

A dry, medium-strong locally representative wine that will make you want a second glass and, at 13.5% ABV, appears very light-footed. Bell-clear, radiant, typical Veltliner with perfectly integrated acidity, which makes your mouth water with every sip. Juicy, fruity texture, mango, herbs, and much more. Elegant and persistent. Has now entered the ideal drinking window, although it still has a great development potential of a good 10 years. But who could resist it now?

For us a real price-performance miracle. A wine that is much bigger and tastes like more than it actually costs. Goes wonderfully with upscale home-style cooking such a veal schnitzel or boiled beef, but every guest will also love this wine on its own - guaranteed!
