Schloss Gobelsburg Ried Heiligenstein 1.ÖTW Riesling 2020

On the famous Kamptaler Heiligenstein vineyard, Riesling vines grow on terraces characterised by idiosyncratic soil formation. Parts of this vineyard are among the oldest in Schloss Gobelsburg and produce enormous wines year after year.

Very fine fragrance with hints of lemon balm, lime and peach, subtle, surprisingly delicate and crystal clear. The wine is more generous and denser on the palate than the nose. There are white peaches and apricots in abundance, bundled and rich in finesse. These are defined by their elegance, remaining dry and yet very sweet. The wine is classy and persistent; great Heiligensteiner with an eternally long storage potential. Spectacular!
