Description

On the famous Kamptal "Heiligenstein," primarily Riesling vines grow on terraces distinguished by their unique soil composition. Some parts of this vineyard are among the oldest at Schloss Gobelsburg, consistently producing immensely mineral-rich wines year after year.

This Riesling exudes a delicate fragrance with hints of lemon balm, lime, and peach—subtle, almost filigree, and crystal clear. On the palate, it reveals a generous and denser profile than the nose suggests. White peach and apricots abound, displaying remarkable finesse and elegance. It is dry yet rich in extract sweetness, with a racy, persistent character. This is a great "Heiligensteiner" with eternal ageing potential.
