Description
Prepare to be amazed when you taste this sparkling wine for the first time. With a little imagination, you could easily mistake it for a premium Champagne. The climatic conditions in Trento are perfect for producing sparkling wines with depth and vibrant acidity, akin to those from the Champagne region. This is largely due to the high-altitude vineyards, which can reach up to 900 meters above sea level. The cool evenings at these elevations are particularly beneficial for maintaining the grapes' acidity structure.
This single-varietal Chardonnay matures on the lees for at least 36 months and undergoes disgorgement without any additional dosage containing sugar.
The result is a wonderfully creamy and complex Trento DOC that showcases why this region is gaining popularity. In the glass, you'll find notes of exotic fruit, orange, and a hint of brioche. On the palate, it offers a very fine pearlage, fresh acidity, impressive pressure, and a very long finish. This high-class sparkling wine is well-suited for further bottle ageing.
A fantastic choice if you're looking to try something different from Champagne or Franciacorta.
