Description

The Roter Veltliner is an autochthonous white grape varietal and barely garnered any attention for years. In recent times though, it has become a trendy niche wine with the potential of achieving cult status.

This Red Veltliner from 40 year old vines is one of the best and knows how to please. Dry, fresh and multi-layered on the palate, it cheers you up. Ripe, yellow pears and exotic fruits come to mind. Honey blossom on the palate, an elegant mix of berries with a hint of caramel. In the long, charming finish. The mineral vein is a testament to the great quality.

An excellent pairing with a variety of dishes, especially poultry and pasta.
