Description

Grüner Veltliner and Carnuntum may not be the first pairing that comes to mind, but this grape varietal has always been grown in this region and the 2024 dream vintage is producing excellent wines.

This Veltliner Alte Reben is an exclusive late bottling. It was allowed to mature in peace for 6 months in stainless steel tanks and is now in its most beautiful form. Grown on loess and sandy loam soils, this wine puts many varietals from other traditional Veltliner regions in the shade. Above all, the price-performance ratio is outstanding and, for this great quality, you might expect to pay a lot more.

Light green-yellow in colour, concentrated scent and a clear Veltliner nose with exotic hints. Dense, very juicy with clear fruit on the palate that impressed us with its length. After the longer maturation, it's now quite harmonious and has a pleasant mouthfeel. It still has good potential for the future. This is how a Veltliner should taste.

Pairs ideally with baked goods, risotto and home cooking - a universal accompaniment to everyday life!
