This Grauburgunder (Pinot Gris/Grigio) never fails to impress us - you rarely find a wine with so many flavour impressions. With this reserve wine, Lorenz Allram proves that he is also a skilled hand at making a memorable pinot. Alongside the Riesling Heiligenstein, this is one of the winery's flagship wines.

After 12 months in barrique barrels, the wine is still rather young but already shows its true potential. Allow it to breathe a little in the glass - fine roasted aroma of the wooden barrels and freshly roasted hazelnuts on the nose. Wonderful notes of hazelnut on the palate which will linger in your memory. Accompanied with a hint of banana and nougat. The touch of nougat is rarely found in white wines. Despite its power, it also has a fine spiciness and subtle minerality. A young wine that is at the beginning of its life and can easily be stored for 15-20 years.

Pairs well with porcini mushrooms, truffles and beef.
Or enjoy it as a substitute for red wine on cold days.
