Richard the Lionheart would dream of our exclusive project! In cooperation with the Domäne Wachau, we have created this fantastic wine especially for you.
A wonderfully representative Grüner Veltliner Federspiel from the Kaiserberg vineyard. The steep vineyard with a gradient of up to 73% is near the Dürnstein ruins. Thanks to many hours of sunshine, a stony soil and steep terraces, conditions are perfect for our Grüner Veltliner.
We were very impressed by this Federspiel wine in a blind taste test. It's exactly how a high-quality Lagenveltliner should taste. Dry, fine, delicately spicy with light hints of herbs and yellow fruits. The well-supporting acidity immediately makes you want a second sip and testifies to the size and elegance without being ostentatious. In the finish, we find a typical Veltliner note with light citrus. Pure fun!
This wine is perfect with food and the price-benefit ratio is unbeatable!
