Description
This Weissburgunder in a 1.5l bottle from the beautiful 2019 vintage immediately enchanted us during the tasting and is now showing its full splendour. It's good to give some wines a little time. Hand-picked, spontaneously fermented and aged in large wooden barrels, this wine is a lot of fun.
On the nose, we smell tender almonds with fresh orange zest. On the palate, the wine is dry, warm and slightly creamy. The acid is never in the foreground. In the finish, it's delicately reminiscent of Burgundian wines and leaves a fine minerality.
A charming, universal match for food. It's is beginning to be ready to drink, but will bring great pleasure for the next 6-8 years.
