Description

Weingut Ernst Triebaumer in Rust am Neusiedlersee proves with this single-vineyard Chardonnay that they can produce very good white wines.

The grapes are fermented in wooden barrels and then stored in used barrels for 18 months. They're moved several times and bottled unfiltered. This white wine with its strong character then develops its full splendour. Ripe pears and apples appear, alongside some fresh grapefruit with caramel honey. Earthy, honest and with a delicate salty note, it pulls itself into a delicate finish. Chardonnay from Rust tastes so good!
