Description
A magnificent vintage Prosecco from the famous Valdobbiadene. DOCG is the highest category - from a hilly area with calcareous soils.
A very versatile, flattering vintage Prosecco that we feel in love with at first sip. This wine was delcared one of the winners in by Falstaff, and rightly so. Brut with around 12g of residual sugar suits this sparkling wine very well. Juicy with fruity nuances. Very fine perlage, a little orange zest, ripe apples and some citrus on the palate. Balanced and harmonious right into the sparkling finish.
Best enjoyed chilled. It is perfect as an aperitif or between meals.
A great accompaniment to seafood and rice dishes. Also outstanding with curries and Asian cuisine.
