Eughenes is the name of the top line of the Sibiliana winery. And the Nero d'Avola is THE autochthonous red wine variety of Sicily. A thoroughbred, red southern Italian, which inspired us from the first sip. The sun and volcanic rock have shaped this red berry, dense wine. The smell of fully ripe, red berries with a light vanilla aroma fills the nose. Aged in used barrique barrels, the palate is quite supple. Every sip is dense, very juicy, and you can literally taste the warmth of the region. Chocolate paired with fine dark fruit and some dried plums conjures a smile.
A red wine for every day. Goes well with juicy burgers and grilled meat in the BBQ season, but is also perfect with pizza and pasta.
