Podere 7 Sette is the name of a very young winery that we recently discovered in the cult region of Bolgheri. In a nutshell, we'd describe them as powerful wines in the Bordeaux style.
The Tuscan sun allows the grapes to ripen perfectly. These are mainly Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc. The typical white wines of Tuscany such as Vementino are also included in their range.
These wines are definitely still an insider tip, but that can change very quickly, especially in the Bolgheri area, if one of the big critics gives them the highest rating.
