This is the essence of every red wine lover’s dream. Unfortunately, this extraordinary wine isn’t available every year, and our allocation is strictly limited. We’re thrilled to have secured a few precious bottles.

Crafting Amarone Riserva is a labour of love—meticulous, time-intensive, and costly. The process begins with hand-harvesting the grapes, which are then dried for about four months in small plastic crates, stored in well-ventilated rooms called fruttai. By late January, the grapes have lost 40–45% of their juice, intensifying their flavours. Fermentation follows, with a 20-day maceration at temperatures between 23 and 28°C, extracting deep colour and complexity from the skins. The wine is then aged for an exceptional 60 months in large, new Slavonian oak barrels, followed by at least six months of bottle maturation before release.

The result is a remarkable red wine with undeniable cult potential. Its deep black ruby colour reveals intense aromas of dark cherries and plums, complemented by notes of cocoa, coffee, and delicate vanilla. On the palate, it begins with a burst of rich, fruity flavours, evolves into floral elegance, and finishes with a refined, dense, and seemingly endless mouthfeel.

This is a wine for contemplation, long-term cellaring, and life’s most special moments.
