Marchina Lugana D.O.P. 2021

Lugana is the trend wine of the last few years. Unfortunately, it's often of far too poor quality and thrown onto the market in large quantities. This great demand does not make it any easier to find really good producers who deliver correspondingly good bottles. We are therefore very fortunate to have this Marchina Lugana. Having been involved in its creation, we're correspondingly convinced by the wine! Only grapes from a young single vineyard with 4 hectares and a direct view of Lake Garda are processed and bottled here.

It's straw yellow in the glass and very expressive on the nose, with lots of light pear fruit and green apples. Quite expressive, a lot comes out of the glass and demands the first sip.

Juicy and very ripe on the palate. A very nice hint of ripe apples and pears, plus a fresh acidity that plays a wonderful little duel with the sweetness. This immediately makes your mouth water and calls for the next sip. Just how Lugana should be!

The 2021 vintage is even juicier and more harmonious than the already great 2020. If you don't grab a bottle, it's your own fault.
