Description
Muscat Ottonel grapes are ideal for sweet wines and no one treats them better than the world's best sweet wine producer: Gerhard Kracher. The right balance between fruit/sweetness and acidity is crucial. This golden drink was matured in steel tanks and stored on the yeast for 5 months. With about 100g residual sugar and 10.0% ABV, this fruity wine is really fun in the glass.
On the nose, find a fine scent of roses, with honeydew melon and herbs. On the palate, the beautiful sweetness is supported by attractive acidity and the taste is reminiscent of a basket with fully ripe tropical fruits. Not too sweet or too fruity, but perfectly balanced. Even if you are not a fan of Auslese, non-sweet wine fans are guaranteed to enjoy a glass!
Pairs well with various desserts, of course, but we prefer to drink the wine with fried foie gras, curries or mature cheese. Pairing with a Peking duck is especially awesome.
