Description

With this classic Zweigelt, top winemaker Andi Kollwentz demonstrates why he is considered to be one of the best winemakers in Austria.

The Zweigelt Leitakalk comes mainly from the Neusatz vineyard and is matured for 9 months in large and small oak barrels. Thanks to its body and elegance, this wine is quite accessible and enjoyable even in its youth. A fine sour cherry aroma with dark cherries and a delicate roasted aroma characterise this dry red wine. This sophisticated Zweigelt exhibits all the distinguishing features of the varietal and is also great fun to drink on any day.

Pairs well with grilled dishes, pork and lamb.
