Description

This new wine by winemaker Silvia Heinrich from Deutschkreutz epitomises the leading varietal of Central Burgenland, the Blaufränkisch. This varietal thrives on the deep loamy soils in the region and exhibits the distinctive character of this fine variety.

Hand-harvested and matured in large wooden barrels, this wine is a joy to drink even when young without being overpowering. This medium-bodied red wine is distinguished by dark berries, a hint of cherries and delicate herbal spice. Dry and yet juicy with a bite on the finish.

An easy to drink accompaniment with pasta, beef and game meat.
