When a Riesling features granite in its name, you can expect something you can sink your teeth into. This holds true for this great wine from the "Ortswein" category. The origin of the wine is evident on the nose. Anyone familiar with the scent of wet stones after rain will pick it up here - it is quite discernible along with very present notes of stone fruits. Light-coloured fruit and floral notes make it an invigorating drink from the very first sip.

On the palate, the wine shows its taut yet elegant side. Dry, but with a very good drinking flow. One sip demands the next. Balanced and multi-layered, racy with good pressure on the palate and a long finish with aromas of stone fruit.

A fantastic Riesling from the Pfalz at a great price.
