Gober & Freinbichler, Weine von Hand

In 2016, friends Dominik Gober and Gerald Freinbichler founded their winery in Horitschon, starting out in a humble garage. By 2022, their passion had outgrown its beginnings, leading to the creation of a new winery complete with guest rooms, ready for the next chapter of growth.

Spanning 10 hectares of prime vineyards in Horitschon and Neckenmarkt, the winery focuses almost exclusively on handcrafted organic wines. Blaufränkisch takes centre stage, whether as a regional or local wine or from the renowned Dürrau and Hussy vineyards. These complex, authentic wines—crafted far from the mainstream—earned them the prestigious Gault & Millau Discovery of the Year award in 2019.
