Description
1st place in the Falstaff Burgunder Trophy 2020 is a clear endorsement! And for so little money!
Grauburgunder has been cultivated by the Preisingers in the Golser Goldberg vineyard since 1980. It shows again and again the quality of this strong, dry wine. It's one of Georg Preisinger's most important wines and has already received several awards - and that's very impressive in this low price range. The wine is matured in large oak barrels, which gives it the necessary maturity. The grapes are reddish-gray and the must pink. It takes colour from the yeast and stays golden yellow afterwards. Pears, meadow herbs, quinces start to appear. The subtle aroma and creamy smoothness make it the perfect accompaniment to food.
A beautiful white wine, made for the autumn-winter season! It goes particularly well with pumpkin and chestnuts.
