Description

Unlike many inexpensive sparkling wines, Cava is exclusively made using traditional bottle fermentation. The 3 classic grape varieties for Cava, i.e. Macabeo, Xarel-Io and Parellada, are combined in this young and fresh Cavá from Ferré I Catasus. It is a Brut Nature Cuvée, i.e. without any added sugar.

Very clean and fresh on the nose, scent of some oranges and light fruits. The Cava needs a few minutes to unfold after opening. Very nice, very fine perlage on the palate, good acidity and very nice fruit. Sticks well to the palate, is really fun. Great aperitif or accompaniment to seafood.

Great alternative, maybe even the better alternative, to lots of Prosecco at this price.
