Family business is absolutely the right word for the Strehn winery: Two generations work hand in hand here and have undergone incredible development in recent years. Monika Strehn and her three children, Pia, Andi and Patrick impressively demonstrate what a family bond is capable of. For some years now, it has been the youngsters who have been at work and have led the winery to far more than just an insider tip in Blaufränksichland. The wines impress with an honest and straightforward style that really brings out the terroir. The siblings complement each other perfectly in their areas of responsibility and have managed to skillfully combine modernity with tradition. Wonderfully juicy and pointed red wines meet surprising white wines, which once again show that there is great potential in this area. In addition, there is the warmth with which you are received by the Strehn family, above all Pia, who as the organiser is responsible for the successful visuals of the wine. Anyone visiting Deutschkreutz should definitely try to visit the Schenkhaus. Unfortunately, despite being one of the best in the country, it's open far too infrequently. Here, too, the siblings are a well-coordinated team - you really shouldn't miss it!
