Description

This Pinot Noir is now entering its ready-to-drink phase. From the Clos Marey-Monge monopoly, the 2012 vintage is very inviting on the nose with floral echoes. It's very complex, with great red fruit aromas and dark berry hints that make the first sip a joy. Nevertheless, give the wine some time in the glass. It needs this to develop.

Very direct Pinot Noir fruit on the palate. Strong and precise fruit is paired with very delicate tannins, that are really nicely ripened. Right now, it's at the beginning of its drinking window. Powerful and complex in the finish with a very harmonious acidic structure. It will develop wonderfully, with at least 10-15 years to continue enjoying the wine - and probably even longer.
