Traditionally, the grapes undergo a meticulous air-drying process for 3-4 months, resulting in a loss of approximately 40% of their original weight. Following this, they are gently pressed and transformed into wine. The result is a wine that exudes the unmistakable aromas of dried and candied fruit, further enriched by an extended aging period in large wooden barrels, which imparts complexity and additional flavours typical of Amarone.
